Default PSP Slim upgrade to CFW Questions

Hi all, I am new here, and have some questions about the PSP Slim downgrade with Pandora's battery. Yes, I have experience- I have already downgraded 2 PHat PSPs and installed cfw. However, I have no idea how to do it on slim, but after reading this guide...(Sorry, I can't post direct clickable URL,because I haven't posted 15 messages yet.)

I know a bit about Pandora's battery and MMS.
Here are my Questions:
1)I'm gonna use my friends Custom Phat PSP 3.90 m33-3- Is this OK?
2)Does the PSP Slim Charger work with the phat?
3)I never knew... But, can a PSP boot up w/o a battery if an ac adaptor is used?(Got it from the guide I think...)
4)It says on the guide that changing XMB Icons could brick the CFW slim... Anyway to avoid this?(Like updating to latest cfw)
5) After I use a MMS can I change the mem card back to normal?
Thanks in advance

1. ok. thats mean you are going to soft mod your battery using your friend's psp. so no need to open up your battery and cut pins
2. i think so
3. yes definitely
4. don't know but reset the psp anyway before proceeding
5.of course. or you can leave it as such and continue to use it to save data from games, etc

Alright thanks, but you say 'thats mean'lol. I think in the guide I can turn the battery back to normal.
The guide I am gonna use is the 3.60 m33 slim installer.
Search in google 'Lounger's M33 installation guide by for PSP Slim '.Click the first one. That is the guide I am gonna use.
