What CFW version should I use?

Hey guys, I just got my PSP a little while back and so far I absolutely love it. Its a phat, running OFW 3.95 and a TA-082 motherboard. I just ordered a Pandora's battery and I am really looking forward to modding my PSP but I have some questions.

What version CFW should I install on it? After reading many different guides, I'm confused, right now I am thinking 3.90 M33-3 would work, but which one is the newest or best out there that I could load? Also are there any OFWs (as in should I not install 1.50 cause it will brick it) or CFWs that I should avoid because of the TA-082?

you can take your pick of 3.80m33-5 or 3.90m33,there both good & stable firmware.3.95 gen just came out a little while ago but haven't heard anything good or bad about it.
