How to-- From official 3.93 to latest custom ?

I've posted a couple times for help downgrading a psp... but each time i did not get the flipn psp (the seller was a flake)

i have the option now to get an official 3.93.... i want the latest CFW (correction, I want the one that will let me play the newest game downloads.)

trying to figure it out.

Anyone simplify ?

I read you can software mod a pandora battery (but i thought you can only do that if you already have cfw installed?)

Can anyone explain the simplist thing to do (whether software or pandora -- and which files to use)

Im sorry for the constant screw up folks (was trying to get help before a purchase, you know? and the purchases went bad.)

ya u r right soft mod is only when u've another psp with CFW or OFW 1.50 on it.
for ur psp, its gonna go the pandora(hard mod) way

Follow the guide in my sig down below. If you want to softmod instead of hardmod then you can either find another person with CFW or you can pay 20 bucks for the PSP Battery Service Tool (which is also in my sig) and it'll softmod it for you and turn your Pandora battery back to normal when you're done.
