ROFL, why the hell would he try this on like a professional programmer forum? sounds like hes either bored or just trying to get himself into trouble..

One thing he failed to see is that the links may have been distributed else where and it may be that (the most likely case on a forum with pro modders) no one here downloaded those files. Besides, it takes a very stupid person to fall for 4.23 when 4.01 hardly just came out. Most people keep tabs on the number of the most recent OFW.
Fail cracker is fail. |

I totally agree - however, we are filled with noobs just waiting to try the latest thing. A post like that could fool some really young kid that depends on PSPMod for the latest and greatest PSP fun and ruin the lives of his unsuspecting parents. I'm fairly experienced in IT and Security which prompted me to look in to this and sure a crap stinks, I knew 4.23 was a red flag. It might have gotten more interesting if it was 4.01 m33-3 or something a tad more realistic. Then again, the file size was so damn small...
I can only imagine how many other places this guy hit and how many folks got infected. Such is life on the world wide inter web.... |

He's definitely hitting other places, as he posted on psp3d.com. No one from there downloaded, cause people assumed it was a bricker. Try to keep a look out for this on other PSP sites you visit . |

Some Admin/Mod send me his IP in a PM and I will ban his IP from ConsoleSpot as well.
