Someone elses flash 0 files could brick your psp.Recover with pandora & in future use CXMB theme changer or use(XMBeditor_V.3_401M33) if you really feel the need to play with flash 0 themes & you won't brick anymore.
P.S-back up your flash 0 files on your comp. because other peoples files won't help.

Davewill is right...
Mine got bricked by using my other psp's flash files...
Or I had incredibly dumb luck and did something wrong.

P.S-back up your flash 0 files on your comp. because other peoples files won't help. | I've gotten someone else's back-up, and it worked. It was to be for the exact same CFW. 4.01 M33 wont work on 4.01 M33-2. You just cant copy over the PSP identity stuff, like the certificates, and other things that only the original PSP has. Pandora > back-ups though. I think giving out back-ups is illegal isn't it? I always thought that was SONY copyrighted software...

4.01 m33 flash0 files!
I've been searching this forum for awhile now and I can't seem to find an answer to help me. Thanks in advance and I apologize I'm new to PSP mods.
I have a Kratos PSP (slim od course) with a pandora battery and running CFW 3.71 M33-2 that I loaded by watching a youtube vid. I'm trying yo up grade my firmware to the latest and (Im using DAX .Rar files for 4.01 and 4.01 M33-2) and I'm following the "copy update put in PSP/Game/..(replacing the other Update) but when I access my PSP to upgrade it unpacks just fine but then says that 401.PBP in not valid. So I'm at a lost as to what I'm doing wrong. Also is it worth it to even upgrade? |

If you must, get the 4.01 official eboot, and rename it to 401.PBP and place it inside the m33 update folder.
