8gb memory stick & cfw 4.01

is 8gb mem stick imcompatible with cfw 4.01? i'm having various problems. it can't find my CSO games (yeah i put them in the ISO folder). sometimes if it does find it, it hangs after the game starts. i didn't face these problems with my previous 1gb mem stick.

Is your stick real? I've got a Sandisk 8GB VideoHD Mk2 stick and it works fine.

Yep, Currently 16 GB is supported with the latest firmware,..... And 4.01 definitely supports 8 GB...... Is 8 GB that you are using is original ??? ..... Cos this generally happens with fake Mem stick

one thing someone messed up and did one time was they had the iso folder in the game folder (ms0sp/game/iso) instead of in the root of the memory stick (ms0:iso/)... doubt this is your problem but someone else did this once

crap! the magicgate status of my mem stick is unknown. does it mean that the stick is fake? it came with original Sony mem stick pro duo pack.

Yep it's Fake......... If you paid price of the original memory stick for fake then go screw the vendor,......
...... Fake memory sticks are hard to identify at first look,... they look pretty similar to the original,... But if you look closely you can see the difference ...

i can't believe it! i didn't buy it from E-bay cause i know there are a lot of double-crossers out there. i bought it from an Amazon merchant and now it looks like the brats are there too!

Hi,
I have the 4.01 original firmware and I have problems on copying movies bigger than 300 Mb using PSPWare or PSPVideo9. If I use the memory card outside the PSP a can copy whatever I want.
Any idea?
