hey guys, does 4.01 m33-2 firmware need the 1.50 kernel to be installed?

1.50 kernel is an add-on(optional), you dont need it to upgrade your psp at 4.01m33-2

anyway... yeah i think you need to install it to be able to play emulators and stuff on that firmware

You can add the 1.50 kernel to phats only. It's not necessary, only needed with a few homebrew programs but most things are updated to the newest firmware.
