A little help?

First of all, a big thanks to all of you who put your time into this site making it decent.

I'm having some trouble, i'm about to buy a fat psp off a friend but also have my little brother's who wants custom firmware put on his fat psp also.

I understand how to make a pandora's battery but am stuck at the idea of the magic memory stick. I was wondering if you guys to point me to a tutorial that would show me how to make one which would install custom firmware 3.71 or above?

Im sorry, i'm really not following the instructions in the readme very well, does anyone know of a tutorial that shows you how to do it?
