Default autopopstation4 problems

i have looked for answers to my problem on this form b4 postin and no luck so here it goes. i riped my own ff8 iso and placed it in the folder wit pops4, when i click on tha pops.bat it goes haywire, a long list that dosent end. now if i close that out and go to coredata folder and click on the ask.bat instead i can successfully fill out all the info it asks me (game name, game id, game code, compression level, and doc gui) with no prob but when i get to the last part where it asks me to confirm all the info and i type "y" (w/o quotations)
it just closes...that it..it just closes, nothin happens.

can anybody help me with this problem, what did i do wrong

Default autopopstation4 problems

well, first off, making two threads isnt going to get more people to answer ur question, people are just going to get pissed at u and ur gonna get in trouble...

as for the game, thats a ps1 game, isnt it...and im pretty sure that all u have to do to play a psp game is convert the iso to an eboot, put the eboot in its own folder, put that folder in the GAME folder, then enable popsloader, then wen the popsloader screen comes up wen u play the game, select the firmware its combatable with....i have no idea about the method ur doing.

to convert ur iso into an eboot u can also use RS-GUI PopStationMD by red squirrel which i prefer. and thn as tomaversa said place the eboot into a folder named after the game and place tht folder in the PSP/GAME. actually disable popsloader because ff8 works best without popsloader. to do tht u need to go to the recovery menu ( turn off the psp by holdng the switch for a few seconds and thn while holding the r trigger turn it back on) thn go to plugins and disable popsloader.
