Default Does 8GB Pro Due Memory Card work with Custom firmware?

I have watched several magic memory stick tutorials and they keep saying that you should use a maximum of 2GB cards. Does this only apply to making the magic memory stick or does the custom firmware simply not support over 2 GB mem sticks?

Thanks.

You can use an 8gig MS for your psp with CFW but you can't use it for MMS.You can use a 4gig but 2gig & under is better.

Default Does 8GB Pro Due Memory Card work with Custom firmware?

How much space does my pro duo card need for the MMS? I want to have a backup memory card with just MMS data on it but I don't want to spend much on it, so if a 512 MB card is enough for to create a MMS then I'd prefer to go with that. Thanks again!
