Default Question about putting CFW on a psp

I've been wondering....

What role does the magic memory stick play in getting CFW on your psp? And do you need it to update the CFW? Also, can I use a regular memory stick for the CFW psp, or do I have to use the magic one?

I'm new to all of this, and i appreciate the help in advance. Thanks.

The magic memory stick holds the files that are used to put CFW on your PSP, it is absolutely required to get CFW for people above 3.50OFW.

You have to use a regular memory stick, it becomes magic after you make it into a magic memory stick obviously.

Make it with the MMS maker in my sig.

Thanks, I just wanted to know if I needed the MMS and Tool battery after I was done with them. My friend wants CFW on his psp so I'm going to charge him for it. =]
