is it possible to play PS3 games for free?

since the PS3 (playstation 3) has a hard drive, i was wondering if it's possible to play PS3 games for free on it by installing a custom firmware or something, and downloading torrents of games, like can be done with PSP?
(sorry if we can't talk about that kind of thing here)

If you go to Best Buy or Game Stop, they usually have games playing and you can play those for free, at least until the store closes.....
