heyy guys,
im VERY VERY stupid for upgrading my psp to 4.05. i need to know if there is a way to mod my psp (madden psp blue limited edition). i've heard there are ways. i have access to a magic memory stick and a pandora battery. anyways, i wanted to mod my psp any way i can plz tell me how and plz give me a guide. i am very dumb when it comes to hacking/moding things. thank u in advanced.

just put in the mms and then the pandora battery,and all the lights should be flashing,there you go.P.S-don't try to flash themes to it,just don't do it,i learnt the hard way why you shouldn't
The maddens that are hackable (the early half) will only be hackable using DCv6 or 7 which is 4.01. Its possible to run 3.71 on one but by using pandora youd have to use recovery flasher to go down to 3.71 later.
If it turns out its a TA-088v3 mobo/processor it wont be hackable at this time and when it is hackable it will never run lower than 4.00 OFW or 4.01 M33 CFW.
what would happen if i would to try modding it with 3.71 and pandora without using recovery flasher. (dont even know what that is) and i got my psp when it first came out. august
If u got it when it was released chances are its a hackable TA-088v2, if u try to hack it with DCv3 (3.71), DCv4(3.80,, DCv5(3.90) it should freeze and do nothing.
DCv6 was designed address this issue not to mention it has a very pretty GUI that looks just like the PSP's XMB. DCv7 quickly replaced DCv7 with its ability's to pretty much unbrick any non physically damaged psp.
I dont know why ud need less then 3.90 M33-3 there are reasons some people might not want to use 4.01 but i doubt you can find a legit reason to run 3.71 IT IS NOT more stable than 3.80M33-5 or 3.90 M33-3, it is in fact less stable always has been always will be.
3.71's only advantage was faster ms reading which can be patch in any of the newer ones as of current.
But the chances of flashing straight to 3.71 on a madden should be nil.
k well actually i was using my friend's mms with 3.71 and his pandora. so shud i make my own mms with 3.90 m33? if yes plz provide a link with LEGIT files. and do i have to have a seperate memory stick to make mms? or can i use my 1gb then delete the files?
Well if u have his battery and MMS give it a shot but as far as I know all Maddens are TA-088v2's and v3's.
DCv6/7 is the only one that will work on TA-088v2's (what is being called the v2b). Go ahead and try his mms and battery but it shouldnt work.
As far as i know you will have to goto 4.01 M33-2 using DCv6/7 then downgrade from there if u wish.
You can use my MMS maker if u like (DO NOT use it for 3.71 has the 3.71 on my 1.0 is broken, the app doesnt have to be installed and doesnt need anything except the official eboot.
The only legit way to make a pandora stick is to use a hacked psp, download dcv7 from dark-alex.org and run it on the ms using a hacked psp.
