Default How can i install a Custom Firmware?

Hi,

i actually own a PSP Slim with 4.01 firmware (4.01 from the date i bought it). Then i bought from Internet a Datel battery tool.

Now for the thousand of guides i read, i read that i need also another PSP already modded. But i don't have any. Is there any way to install a fresh, first and new install on my PSP.

-I don't have any other PSPs with custom firmware.
-My PSP slim is 4.01 OCF from the first time i used.
-I got a Datel battery tool that works like a Pandora but it is already hard-modded by the datel company itself.

Help please!

Thanks in advance.

Like he says, if your PSP came pre-installed with 4.01 firmware, it's highly likely to have the unhackable motherboard, the TA-088v3.

Yea i discovered that is a ta88v3. But guys do you know why PSP Slim around are soldered with previous TAs?

I saw that Ratchet & Clank bundle has got TA088v2. Do you know any other bundles with previour TAs? Because i am going to change it.

I've done it guys! Changed motherboard from a my friend PSP. He doesn't even know what is custom firmware so it is worth doing it. He just uses UMD and stuff.

Ahah...
