Default Help With Upgrading

Hello, I've recently purchased Star Ocean: Second Evolution but can't play it due to outdated software... I'm already running cfw, and would like to keep that, so using the official update isn't a solution.

I'm currently running 3.52M33-4 on a Fat PSP and would like to upgrade to the latest cfw (mayaswell do that now, so I don't have to upgrade again soon). I just can't find out which way is best from 3.52M33-4. Any help would be much appreciated.

Looking around, and reading about Pandora's battery...Well, let's just say I'd like to avoid using that if possible!

File Details-CFW-5.00-M33-6-PSP -

http://exophase.com/files/psp/500.PBP

Just copy the 5.00 M33-6 into your G:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE folder and stick the 5.00 pbp in the 5.00 m33 folder and run the update.

Andf if you choose to, you can put the 5.00 m33 1.5 kernel on your psp.

Homebrew developer Dark_AleX has released a 1.50 kernel add-on for Phat (regular) PSP units running custom firmware 5.00 M33. This is not a required update, but is recommended for those that want to run older homebrew applications on their PSP.
To install, first download the 150.PBP and place it in the root of your memory stick (X:\150.PBP, if X is the drive letter of your PSP). Then simply copy the “150k_installer” folder to GAME and run the installer from the PSP’s Game menu.

That EBOOT won't work on my PSP. After 3 hours of waiting, I decided to turn off the PSP. Luckily that didn't brick it, but now I'm wondering what to do. Haha. I hate feeling like a n00b. =]

ok cfw network update was implemented on 3.80m33, so if he did what you said he would of been on 5.51 ofw and would need a pandorabattery

I'm a girl!

Anyone know how I can get this to work? Thanks for the help so far! Even though my PSP's being fickle.
