Alright, but is there a way to play Disgaea 2 with my current firmware? I never had to pandoraize the battery, since mine is one of the original originals.

Hmmm.. Geek9, will this cause any kind of problem, i.e. bricking? Also, what about Pandora batteries, what exactly do they do? And one other really random question, Bricking, what is the exact way it occurs? I heard it was the battery frying the CPU.

pandora batteries actually give you custom firmware by downgrading. This gives you a version which stays installed even when the psp is shut off. That firmware will not brick your psp.

it won't brick if you do it right, a brick is a faulty install of the psp os (usually)

Ha to the brick. But I found an article about the 5.55 MX being a fake.
Is it true? Can someone point me towards a correct one?

Oh great, I think I bricked it. I try and load it and it says that a serious error has occurred. RSOD! Great, how do I go about fixing it?
