Installing 3.52 M33-4 problems
I'm running 4.05 OFW on PSP FAT.
I use my pandora to get to either 1.50(I put the files in GAME) or 3.40 OE-A(I put the files in GAME150), and then I use the M33 Creator, no problems here.
3.52 M33 FIRMWARE CREATOR
Loading 1.50 firmware... OK.
Writing 1.50 firmware... OK.
Loading 3.52 firmware... OK.
Writing 3.52 firmware... OK.
Done.
Press X to exit.
Then I go to M33 Update and this is where the problem is:
You are about to update your PSP to 3.52-M33.
Press X to start the flashing process accepting that authors aren't responsible of the consequences this process may cause on your unit.
If you don't agree, press R to exit.
Loading PSAR to RAM... OK.
Checking psar integrity... OK.
Formating flash0... OK.
Creating directories...PANIC: error creating directories.
OK.
Writing files...
It just sits there forever. Can someone help me out before I smash my psp into pieces? |

what firmware do you really want to get to? you were on ofw 4.05 and using a pandora...make a magic stick and then load your cfw, don't go all the way down to 3.52m33, way old...go to 5.00m33-4 using rains easy magic stick creator and call it a day |

not entirely true...if you're using a pandora you can make a magic stick and be flashed into 5.00m33-4 in a matter of 2 mins...
do you have a memory card that's more than 128mb??
edit...and technically, from 3.52m33 you have to go to 3.52m33-4 and then to 3.71m33 and then go up to 5.00m33...it's a longer process, you have a pandora, let's use that...let me know about your memory stick |

ok, download these 2 files on this page... Rains UltraLite MMS Maker for 5.00 M33-4, PSP Hacks - PSP Slim Hacks
now, when you get them both, make sure they're in the same folder or both on the open desktop of your pc...plug in your psp via usb port...open the rains program (looks like a memory card)...click on format memory stick (make sure to back up anything you want to save that's important on it)...
it will make the magic stick with 1 click...
then...exit usb mode...shut down the psp, install the pandora with magic stick inserted 1st (before pandora)...then hold R while you put in the pandora battery and select install 5.00m33 custom firmware
let me know how you do with all that |

i'm not editing cause i want you to not get confused with steps...
after it installs........
go to system settings on your psp and choose "restore defaults", the person who made this program, it installs his settings, no big deal...just restore defaults and make it your own again
this is my magic stick also and it works really well and quickly |

you're holding L while installing the pandora battery and not letting go at all?
hold L before installing pandora battery, do not let go, the pandora powers it on without using the power switch
edit...had to correct my retardedness
