Upgrade from 3.71 m33-4 to ????

i have a PSP with 3.71 m33-4 firmware.

wanna know what firmware can i upgrade to so as not to brick my psp.

will be great if there are guide and safe firmware to download.

4.01 m33 or 5.00 m33 (2 or 3) would work just fine

anyway, not sure if fat and slim psp have anything in difference for the upgrade. mine is the fat one.

Its hellcatz recovery flasher 1.60
should work on your FW, the readme should be pretty self explanatory.

use the hellcats as provided above...in my sig i have that link also and the 500.pbp file needed for it, or you can use that 500.pbp and the 5.00m33-6 update in my sig too to manually update...

place the 500.pbp file in the update folder (of the 5.00m33-6 link)
or
place the 500.pbp file in the recovery folder (from hellcats download)

either method^^ works and the update or recovery folder (which ever way you decide) goes into your game folder and then run it like any game.
