5.50 GEN-D Released

I know no one cares about GEN, but I figured I'd make this thread anyway.

* Possibility to connect to the Playstation Store by the using of MEDIAGO, to retrieve games and goodies without having to install Fake USB or other complicated stuff.
* Possibility to use the XGEN Updater to install the official firmware 6.10 (use it only if you have a Pandora XGEN to be able to return later in Custom firmware)
* 480x272 AVC Videos ere supported

An option to accelerate reading of the memory stick (the fatmsmod, I presume) is also in the process of getting ported to the 5.50GEN releases.

I tried it it sucks, so I went back to 5.00M33-6

So, is it any worse than Gen B2? I'm OK with B2 so if it's an improvement over that I'll take it. People keep saying it sucks without saying why.

it have the same abiltis like b2 + a build in patch for 6.00 and lower game.ppl say its shit cuz its fool of unfixed bugs and its much more unstable copared to m33 FW so yeah it suck.the only good gen fw is 5.02 GEN-A

Ok been testin this for a few hours and so far it seems to work as advertised. if your having problems loading games go into recovery and set it to the sony driver for UMD and enable VSH menu. all settings get wiped during the install also check that your plugins are still enabled.
the no patch works very well. it loaded G.I Joe Grand Turismo and Dissida FF without patching and no slowdowns or glitches (played 4 levels of GI Joe so better apreciate the sacrafice)
All emulators i tested NES Genesis mame gba ect all worked without issues
Daedalus still works like crap
I plan to keep testing this for the next few days so if there is any program you would like me to test to check compatability send me a PM

yes, i also updated ... i dont care.. you can access the PSN store but no multiplayer.. if you put in your name and password to try multiplayer, you will have to reformat your flash0 before accessing the store again

Can you still use ad hoc with GEN-D? I play alot of Monster Hunter and I have GEN-B2 right now.

So there is absolutely no way to get Obscure the Aftermath to run on Gen D? It doesn't run for me, neither off of my UMD or if I put the ISO on a mem stick.
