HELP PLS!!!! CFW 5.00 m33-6 problem with MOST games
i downgraded my psp fat 2.01 to 1.50, then updated all the way to CFW 5.00m33-6. i just cant play iso games.. i know that certain games require u to patch them, ie gran turismo and fifa10.. so i got my friend to pass me all her ISO/CSO games, and guess what? those that work on hers, with the the same cfw, work fine on hers but dont work on mine! for exp, nfs undercover goes to language, and after i enable the autosave, it totally hangs, and my psp crashes. Also, fifa 09 get's stuck at the loading screen, crashes. I caN play virtua tennis 3, burnout legends, syphon filter.. but it seems everythin else doesnt work. can't belive it!
cant play Star wars-force unleased, fifa 10, NFS undercover, C.R.A.W., so many more!
i have searched for countless hours on the net, can't find a thing. fyi i dont recieve any error msg, it just hangs, and resets. i only got an error msg with gran turismo, (but that was because my cfw isnt good nuff).
read that u have to change ur ms speed to ALWAYS and set ur kernel to 1.50 and put ur UMD mode at the sony np9660 setting. i've also disabled everything at the advanced configuration part.
Ultimate PSPtube 2.0 works well, too.
oh and one last thing. = i get this screwed up PSP screen when loading games.. and when previewing the games in the game menu-memory stick. - u know, like a tv in static, or sometimes just a black screen. never the normal one.. PLEASE PLEASE HELP! |

maybe im off but sounds like part of 2 poblems the scrabled screesn gameboot etc Do sound like bad flash. but if after a few reflashes andnada. Maybe your systems NAND flash is wearing out?
2 maybe your stick just needs a reformatting half the time when a ISO/CSO wont load its because of a corrupted file system
to be safe and help us rule out its not stick related. goto any option that shows your card. triangle --Info. Does it display MagicGate: Supported ? if anything els eyou got a fake a good one but could be wearing out.
theres defantly a few thinsg at work here 1: sounds like a Flash issue from the scrambled screens
the game cannot be started issue is likely stick related.
your friends stick w/ games locking up maybe psp related.
gl though on figuring out and fixing the problem |

gl though on figuring out and fixing the problem | thanks for ur help mate. And yes, MagicGate iS supported.. and its about 2 weeks old, the MS.. haihhhhh. So if its the flash issue.. how do i solve it? the stick is fine.. my friend's stick as well. My friends stick works fine on his psp, but not on mine.. which is why im saying it has to be smt to do with the psp.. and its not only games from his stick locking up, games from my stick locks up as well. so i doubt its the games, OR the sticks.. its the PSP (maybe a flash issue, as u said). any solutions? what do mean by my systems NAND flash is wearing out? |

theres one last idea. backup your stuff. Format your card. now only copy hellcats recoevry to teh stick and the OFW 5.00 PBP to the root of the stick and attempt a last time reflash. its possible atm the Filesystem's corrupt for your stick atleast. and when your reflashing its reading the pbp and M33 files incorrectly. OR the internal MS reader in teh PSP is going bad.
but if your NAND is wearing out. well nothing you can do on your own short of as i said flashing OFW then sending it to Sony. |

Also, there's no problem with the MS reader, i've just only replaced it. -.- and i can still play some games!
