Dissidia

Hi everyone,

I had 3.80 M33 and I had been playing the US iso of Dissidia with no problems as recently as yesterday. Today I couldn't, it gave me the same "the game could not be started" error I was getting with Gran Turismo, except that made sense. So I just upgraded to 5.00 M33-6 and it didn't fix the problem.

Interestingly, all my .isos are now giving me the same error (and they did before upgrading too, but just today), the GBA emulator does work fine though...

any ideas?

Make shure your UMD driver is set to sony and not to UMD needed

Press select on the main menu, then change "UMD ISO MODE"

Worked like a charm, thanks a lot! Any idea how that would have changed itself (before I updated)?

Unfortunately...now I've updated and my dissidia save file is corrupted...

Yeah ALWAYS back up everything from your card before updates, good idea to get in the practice of formatting it both before and after updates also.

As for it switching back, sometimes the updates do that. Check your date and time settings aswell, as they are probably off.

Actually no, all my other save files work, its just Dissidia. I think it's because I was playing it on a firmware the Dissidia can't normally played on.

Will downgrading fix it again? If it doesn't I'm just gonna download a completed Dissidia file, I'm not doing all that again.

mostlikely not. saves are not realy sensitive to what FW your running

I do own the game, but I'm at school and I left it at home so I downloaded it, don't worry. I'm too much of an FF geek not to support it ^_^

wow you sound really desperate to play that game. i hope you're on a boarding school or something. also this site frowns (or flames) downloading commercial gamesin general. so again i hope u mean you downloaded the save file

i dont wanna sound like an ass but i agree with thesexyone's statement hope yoru just talking about the save.

as to iso downloading isnot tolerated even if you claim " but i have the orginal its not piracy!" it still is. if you truly had the UMD why not Re-rip your UMD?
