3.52m33 or m33-4?? you need -4 in order to update, but if you're on that i would just use hellcats to flash install the update immediately to 5.00m33-6

go into recovery mode by powering down and then hold R and restart...make sure you're not running the 1.5 kernel enabled

just follow this guide, it starts at 1.50 (you're currently on now) and will then take you all the way up to 3.90m33 again...

BUT once you get to 3.71m33, you can just click on the 500.pbp file in my sig along with the 5.00m33-6 update. place the 500.pbp into the 5.00m33-6 update folder, place that folder into your game folder and run it...report back and take your time, follow the guide to a T...good luck!

GUIDE FOR INSTALLING 3.52M33-4 THEN 3.71M33-4 ,3.80M33-5 OR 3.90M33-2 WITH 1.50 KERNEL

edit...the 3rd section of this guide, tells you to get the 3.52m33-4 update from a dead link, use the 1 i gave you before for that step...it says this:

* Download the update 4 here . Dark-Alex.Org
* Place the update folder in the following directory; 'X:/PSP/GAME150/'
* Run the update from your XMB, under GAME > Memory Stick.

just use my previous link i gave you

i had this problem... what it was i plugged the wrong charger into my psp 2003.. Plugged in the tomtom charger (which has more volts!)... this was when i came home for lunch.. left it on charge as there was 1 bar showing.. .came back from work the Orange light went means its finished charging... took it out when it switch it on comes on with a black screen though... think shite i bricked my psp... thankfully i have a spare psp 3000 so i thought i will give that battery a go and it worked... Turned out i knackered my battery.. Put to much volts through as the wrong charge i plugged in used 5v! and psp 3.5v :|..
