What happens if you put a Pandora Batt in a non hackable PSP?

My brothers PSP is a 2001, with the code HU2 in the serial. That is supposed to be a sign that it is unhackable, but not the final word.

What would happen if I put in a pandora batt and downgraded to 3.71 M33? Would it just not even attempt it or would I brick it?

Worse comes to worse I can try the program to verify for sure, just seems like a long process.

if its unhackable the pandora will not even turn the system on at all

Ah crap... Put the battery in, green light came on, and then nothing. That sucks. It had the HU2 serial thing as well. That blows for my brother.
