Psp-2004
Hello, i just bought a psp-2004 a month ago from Gamevalley egypt, the guy there said its hackable. i finaly hacked it when i found that its CFW is only temporary. i asked a couple of friends , they said that they easily turn it off and back on..i said ok, it might be because it turns off by it self *battery problem n stuff* so i tried to install the cxmb plugin on it but the recovery menu doesnt open, i called gamevalley, they said they'r not responsible for it, but i should send it to em to see if they can fix it or not.another store said they have a permanent CFW for 2004, and im kinda confused and i need some guidelines |

you need to check your mother board info to install cfw...the guide i gave you tells you how to install "pspident"...do that, find out your mother board info, then go from there...i wouldn't pay anyone to that for me when you can do it yourself in under 5 mins.
you can check in my sig also to see if it's hackable... |

look. first, you must identify your motherboard. if you find out that it is NOT a TA-88v3, then it is a fully hackable psp.
in which case, you will chickhen your psp, then download and run 5.00 M33.
the hackable/unhackable psp's chart is in my sig, just look in post #1.
try finding out with pspident, since i guess you don't have a pandora.
also, if a pandora battery turns on your psp immediately,it is confirmed hackable. a psp that can run chickhen is not necessarily hackable. |

if it's hackable, you're running chickhen, use hellcats recovery flasher and fully install 5.00m33-6 |

Huh? Did you really have cfw or not on your psp because a TA-088v3 board shouldn't even be able to run cfw. Are you sure it is a TA-088v3 board? I'm confused.
