you should read the readme it requires a clean 1.5 firmware

ok, got a problem, i went bak to 1.50 for some reason then, installed DA's 2.71 SE-B but now whenever i try to go to the "GAME" from my XMB, it just freezes and shuts off, anyone know why?

EDIT:nvm, fixed it, make a folder named ISO *DUH*

hello pspmod, long time no see
im just dropping in for a quick question
i downloaded and installed Dark_Alex SE-C Custom Firmware, and i thought that i would still be able to play homebrew...apparently i was either wrong, or im missing something here...so my questions are

A: Is it possible to play homebrew
B: If not, how do you downgrade

edit: ok, i figured out the homebrew, but i'd still rather downgrade
i tried puttnig a 1.5 eboot into PSP/GAME/RECOVERY , and then going ot eth recovery menu and doing "Run program at /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP" but when i do it just goes black, flashes the memory stick light for a couple seconds, then shuts off...any suggestions?

EDIT: ok, i figured it out...back to 1.5...sorry for the wasted post

i can't access my games folder i have two folders gam271 and game150 every time i click it it says there are no games. i am trying to update from se-b to se-c.

also when i name a folder game it just freezes and cuts off

pookiepoo, could you elaborate a little more please? how exactly are you trying to access them???

Id like to answer everyones question about this and TA-82, first of all this doesn't work on TA-82 because you must downgrade to 1.5 something we cannot do.

The new iRShell is already out. And yes, there is an Overclocking module for 2.71 SE-C. The cool thing about SE-C is that you can run PRX modules straight from the Memory Stick instead of constantly flashing it to the PSP.

The one thing I've had toruble with Overclocking Module is that once I have it installed and used it just once, my Internet Browser won't run. I had to completely uninstall the Overclock Module to get it back working.

I have a PSP SS259 K (2.71) TA-082 Board, All I want to know is there a way I can run a NES/SNES emulator on my PSP?

ok ok im getting kinda tired of this custom firmware not working for me.

heres the problem, i have 2.71 SE-C and i have it set up fine with iso' but none of my homebrew apps are working i have repeatedly copied them to both gam folders and each time i go to "memory stick" it just has 2 new corrupt files and nothing else(besides my iso's) so then when i reconnect to my comp and look for the files i just put on, the folder is there but no files(eboots nothing) if anybody could please help i would be very very happy! thanks

Hello, Im trying to figure out how to load isoÃƒÆ’Ã†â€™ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…Â¡ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â´s, I have my iso in the "ISO folder" and I can see my game in the gamelist...but when I load it it says "The game could not be started (80020321)" I have tried 3 of my games and its the same error message each time. I can see the games in the list with sound and changing background and movie exectra, but after the little PSP load thingy it gives me that error message. why is this and what can I do?
I use 2.71 SE-C
