I understand how to run hend but as I said before all i get is a blue srceen followed by unit shutting off. in other words i cannot get the hend files to load system will not reboot

That's normal, at least it was for me when I was downgrading to 1.5 from 2.71 ta-082. When you get the blue screen and it turns off, turn it back on and just continue with the next step. Once you finish all the steps and if you cant see anything on your PSP but you hear the sounds when pressing bottoms, then you have to adjust the contrast again. I Hope that helps.

hey guys, i have 3.020EB and i am looking for a tutorial on how to add custom fonts and backgrounds and start up screens. ive tried searching but havnt had much luck. please give me guidence men for i am lost.. ps. im not a super hacker as it took me a long time reading to figure out how to get this far.. thanks

I have installed 3.02OE-a and -B, Do i need to restart the 3.02OE-A install and use Recovery option? or do i have all the files necessary?

How would i drop back to 1.5 if needs be,

start in recoverymode
then file/game/update/eboot.*** option from menu


Also what files do i need to keep on my memcard? any or none can i reformat and start with a clean memcard? or are some files needed?

Hi people. Alright, now I have a 3.02 OE-B PSP.

Before doing all of this I had a 2.71 TA-82 which had some save games. I backed them up in my PC just in case. (I used DevHook)

As far as I know, copying the folders directly into the SAVEDATA folder will do the trick right? Well, I can see them in the sava data manager in the XMB, but some of them say that they are corrupted.

I checked and the names and locations are the same.

Does anyone have this problem??

i installed 3.03 oe-a but now when i try and run any homebrew or iso's they don't show up on the memory stick. It just says "there are no games" I have put them in the game150 folder, or whichever one the particular game required. Ive tried to upgrade to b or c but they don't show up either. So what am i doing wrong or how can i just go back to 150 and start over.

did you change the kernel setting to 150?
if you want to go back to 150, do it through recovery mode...

be sure the folder is CAlled GAME150 and not game150

best way is to formatt your memcard..
it will create all the folders your psps needs.

also besure your kernal is in 3.03, then makes
it required to use a GAME150 folder for 1.50 homebrew

to go back to 1.5 psp
just reboot your psp, (full power down)
then when you start it back up hold R

from their make sure you have your recovery folder setup
per the instructions and the 1.50 eboot where it should
(all in the readme) then just "run program at psp/game/recovery/update.pbp"

wich is the first step, now i guess they have to decrypt each of the
prx's rco's among other files... also they need to find an exploit that will
allow them to run homebrew in kernal mode. Once that has happened
Im sure we will see some sort of downgrader.

this could be mins, hours, days, weeks, months, or even years before
it happens.

he already made a custom firmware 3.10, but it may be months before we find one, im sure they might use the unpatched GTA exploit, but if sony understood how it worked after the 3.03 downgrader, they might have stopped the GTA exploit from working...

some exploits? haven't heard of any. You're right 3.10 and 3.11 have been decrypted. They don't have to decrypt all the files, if that were true we would have a 3.03 topmenu decrypted. I doubt anyone is looking at the moment. It's rare enough you will buy a 3.03 PSP but they are the latest to be shipped and if you upgrade then tough shits. They need to find if kernel mode is possible, but honestly its always the user mode that is the biggest problem. Whoever needs to downgrade is gonna be waiting a while.
