Yeah i dont blame ya... at 4am im asleep as well
Im not sure where i missed it... i think because someone said it was possible on 2.71 i assumed you could run the easyupdater from there... didnt quite realise that the game150 directory was a OE firmware thing...
All good now though... playing Rock'n'roll racing on the snes emulator so now i dont have to cart my gameboy advanced around! keep up the good work guys! fantastic site! |

I would like to ask if there is any plugins that allows the use of JSO format, i read on sites that it has better compression and faster loading times compared to cso. There is a plugin for devhook 0.52 but that i can't get working for some reason.. |

Use 3.50 and a legal Lumines to downgrade, only way possible right now.

I just upgraded to 3.40 OEA from 3.03 OEC. Now I get an error message 98765432 when I try to change the system language to Chinese and Korean. I think Japanese works fine. 3.03 OEC can be changed without a problem. Is there a way to fix this or should I go back to 3.03 OEC? |

Couldn't I make a hybrid firmware based off of 3.30? Since 3.3 and 3.5 have the same encryption code and all, it wouldn't be that hard. I don't say 3.4 oe since it has that hash check so I couldn't base it off of that...so....lemme know what you think.... |

i wish it did, it'd make this 3.51oe-a soooo much easier! but its happening

i enough to have the decrypted reboot.bin from 3.51 along with other at maxconsole, after modifying C&D's original 3.30 decrypter. i wont take credit for the reboot.bin cause others did it first but none-the-less its done!
also, since sony are pushing to require 3.51, using 3.5 prx's is no good.
if this isnt your first custom firmware, please share your firmware's with me... combined efforts will make 3.51oe appear quicker.
i havent made a cfw before because there was no need with DA around, since his departure from the scene, i, and others have been working on 3.51.
altho some of the prx's may have the same code, the RCO's dont - another minor mod required...
please do enlighten me as to what you've done?

Well my friend, It's certainly been a while. I'm not up to date on the 2.71+ stuff since I left the scene a while back. But, I guess I could give 3.51 a shot. Basically I was working on hybrid firmware around the same time as DAX, but since his was better I said screw it.
I would like to help (if I can be of assistance) but, I got some catching up to do.
[edit] In the mean time, I'll be playing FF7 on POPS [/edit] |
