This is the first election i can vote in. Im thinking about registering to vote then not voting. My personal "up yours" to both parties.

i learned in ap govt, that you can have what they call a write-in, meaning that you could right a name on the ballot, for example if there are 200 million voting, and 150 million wrote mickey mouse, than mickey mouse would be our president, not saying its possible, but its just a term i learned

Yeah, i know about the write-in thing, but i'd rather just not vote at all. It lets the government know that they arent worthy of my opinion because they went and fucked up. They probably wont even notice, but it will make me feel good, lol

three years ago we had low gas prices, stock market was up 1400 (higher than it ever has been) and the economy was soaring. two years ago we went from a republican congress to democratic. now gas is over 4 dollars some places, the stock market is fucking dead, property value is dying with the economy, etc and so forth. the FUCK if i vote democratic. i absolutely abhore both sides but i would vote mccain as the lesser evil. (and because my girlfriend is a obama fan and i am required as a man to be sort of a douche and vote for the other side) i don't think however that mccain will win, seeing as look who he's following, George W, and people want DO want change. another reason mccain will lose, and this is not meant to be racist, is because he is black, and believe it or not, there are going to be some african americans that want to see a first black president. people who don't want to believe that race will have an effect on the polls will see the truth when mccain wins southern states (fucking rednecks). thank god he is a fag loving muslim(possibly) who supports abortion, at least the christians might not vote for him. as for the war, i want our troops back on american soil, in fact, i want them placed on the borders. but i don't want our troops back until they finish the job. we have the most advanced army in the world, and i would bet my eyesight that we could have cought bin laden years ago, i hope one of the candidates want's to finish it quickly and not just tuck tail and run. i know obama wants to tax the rich harder. so much for every man be treated equally. i'm definitely not rich, but i know if i worked hard to become rich, or make my family rich, i wouldn't want to be taxed harder, i think anyone can be rich, if we work at it. on the other hand we could just be democrats and enforce handouts to the nasty poor people who lack the ambition to go out and get a job and help themselves. honestly i think that taxing rich people harder is coming very close to the red line of communism. lets try to make everyone the same, yuk. next, if you were going to have a brain surgery, would you want the doctor who has done a hundred surgeries, or maybe 3 or 4. the lack of experience with obama disturbs me. it's like that movie "head of state" where they just pick a random black guy that knows politics. what does obama know about war . . . nada. mccain is a war hero and knows politics. i'm tired . . . dozing off . . . either way.

McCains view on the war is better, imo, but still sucks. He plans on us finishing the job (which is great) but he plans on taking forever to do it. Obama wants to yank us out of one unfinished war so he can start another right away.

it would really suck for the people who have already died if we just gave up. expecially if there is no reason we can't win.

We've technically 'won' the war already, we are just trying to keep peace while they sort out their own problems because they cant handle anything peacefully on their own.
We went in there and took over so its our responsibility to make sure everything is okey-dokey when we leave. We can probably get it done quicker than McCain plans, but its better to take time and make sure they are set up right over there instead of rushing through it and pissing them all off.

i think we will have technically won the war when we drag bin ladin out into the streets, execute him, hang him upside down at a local gas station and let people stone his dead body, just like benito mussolini back in WW2.

The war in Iraq isnt even about Bin Laden though. Which is why Obama wants to pull the plug and send our troops to go find Bin Laden. Which is great, but we need to finish one war first.

I think our entire electorial system needs to be re-structured. I remember reading somewhere about Washington saying the quote about the 'two party system', which has happened, and I blame that on the press (everything wrong with people's views, in my opinion, has to do with the biasism of the press). Yes the war needs to end, but we do need stay and make sure shit doesn't go down like it did after the gulf war "here's some training and weapons, later." and the taliban pops in shortly after and rules by way of junta, helping pave the way for Al-qeada to get more power and over throw what government they had left.

GOP is no longer the Grand old Party, they are just buisness-men helping the other buisness men get richer (because shipping jobs across the seas for legal slave labor is great for our economy ::sarcasim:

. And democrats... really, wtf have they done recently but complain about what the GOP are doing!

The GOP and democrats all want to run the country on magic, and money let's them fool the people into thinking it is so. I've always registered as independant, because I feel the process of choosing a party in the first place is a dumb and useless process that I feel should be a once a life-time thing. If you don't like what your party is about this elecetion, then vote another party regardless your views, is the way it should be (and the stupid thing is, it's before we even get to see what everyone is about, so it's more or less a trap to be stuck voting for a party (or not) that you may not agree with).

As for those people that are not pro-choice, just think of all those people you dispise fornicating and reproducing not haveing the ability to get rid of that 'accident' before they have a kid they could careless about, therefore restarting the entire douchbagary cycle again. In-fact, I would be up for manditory birth licensing anymore (let's face it, we're being over populated by immigrants daily, and our own people anymore don't believe in a hard day's work and pop out babies for welfare checks (I know, my fiance's sister is one of those people, and is haveing another baby to try and get another $600 a month, and it pisses me off)). Ok, I think I've cleared my rant. I'm sure some of my info from the last two paragraphs is flawed, so correct me if I'm wrong, don' flame XP

EDIT: I'd also like throw some shit talk at liberals for helping both of these parties make the USA an even shittier place to live. Seriously, get out from under the tree's, off your soapbox, and go work and help stimulate the economy because no one really cares what you think... thank you.
