Ive seen someone with a psp and they had the same waves in the background as you would for a month, but a picture at the bottom, kind of overlapping the waves... now i have the black waves (from x-flash) with the alienware XMB icons, and i want an alienware logo at the bottom corner... how do i do this? im assuming you make a transparent layer and load it as a background but i dont know...

    EDIT - anyone?! please? lol

alright ive been wanting to know this same thing and since no one was answering you i decided to adventure ok here is how you make a background so that the waves are still in it....

Step one: download the latest Xflash or i guess any will work...

Step two: connect your psp to your computer via usb

Step Three: then go into your psp to your game folder or GAME150 and enter xflash folder

Step Four: After you enter xflash folder then you need to enter the Modified folder

Step Five: after you do that you should see a hole mess of stuff for xflash ex. coldboots,gameboots,titlescreen.. etc

Step Six: go to the background one and either erase it or save it into a folder on your computer (i put mine into a folder just incase i needed it for later use)

Step Seven: then enter what ever you are going to make background such as paint, photoshop etc... (i used paint to make it fast and simple)

Step Eight: make your new background cant be larger than 60x34!!!which is really really small :[

Step Nine: This IS IMPORTANT When you save this it needs to be saved as BMP!!!!!! aka Bitmap on mine there was like five different bitmaps so i picked 24 bitmap or something like that. the way you check what bitmap you are saving it into is right underneath what you are going to name it it will say save as blah blah.. that blah blah needs to be bitmap By the way you can save this directly to your psp/xflash/modified/ but be sure to name it background if you dont this wont work..

Step Ten: (After getting it into psp/xflash/modified/ )get out of usb mode and go into xflash

Step Eleven: go into 5: REPLACE BACKGROUND PICTURES and press x

There you go you have the background with the waves on it

has anyone tried this yet besides me(if so please post i wanna see what yall have done)
