is there any way to get the gameboots to work on 3.40 oe.a. i upgraded thinking it would still work. any ideas??? thanks

yup bro gameboots would still work with 3.40oea.all files from 303oec can still be used for 3.40oea except the topmenu file.....

It does work on 3.40 OE-A. All firmwares have the option of having a gameboot.

Maybe you redirected your gameboot to Memory stick the wrong way, so it wont load or read the path. Or your missing the gameboot in flash0.

But yeah in short words.. 3.40 is not the problem.

Its doing great man, I love the feeling of having a brand new psp, no scratches, no flaws. Its great.. The old one had a rough time.

Everything is perfect, the only thing so far is the 'brightness bug' TA-082 have. and trying to find out whats keeping me from loading debranded 'vshmain.prx'

swwetness oh by the way the rock is amazing but is there any way you can boost audio becuase its a littel hard to hear even all the way up oh and boost the volume all the way if u cna in my new request

I can try, the thing is the "Quality of the video provided" video and sound are not that great.. But I can try but it might just sound like "SHSHHH" have some noise in it.
I'll see what I can do.

And will do Savon I'll PM you tomorrow, right now im leaving its 2:40 AM around here.. Need sleep, I need some strength and balls to do the "brightness fix" on my psp... haha.. Im kinda gathering and thinking that over and over. Gladly I have 3 months warranty but I already exchanged my psp so I might not get a 3rd chance at it again.

Its a bug that some TA-086 have and mostly ALL TA-082 have.. The 1,2,3,4 level of brightness gets reversed, you have a clock bug as well when the time is 12AM or 12PM and your running a homebrew if you press HOME you'll see instead of 12:34 PM/AM or you'll see "0:34"...

And also the brightness get reseted, if you have Recovery mode on level 1.. XMB will be on lv 3... And if you have Recovery on level 3.. XMB's brightness will be turned off.. You kinda get the idea... its a PAIN.

Theres a fix but if you MESS it up youll brick. is not like semi bricks; you mess up one LETTER and your done.. NO repair. thats why im thinking that over and over. I wont brick but my psp is being stupid loading "vshmain.prx" so ... I kinda think it'll do the same with those..

oh trust me Ive been thinking of the modchip.. The thing is that is not a TA-082 compatible if Im not mistaking. But I will get it one day for sure, that way I'll forget those damn bricks forever. Im sick of the Cant do that or I might brick etc.
