I was just wondering how to change the colors of the smaller items on the xmb menu.

there are many ways to change the color of the battery menu, volume, etc etc, but i am looking for how to change the small line that runs across the screen to the right side, and it goes under the text of the sub menu xmb icons. (ie...under memory card)

mine line is blue, and i would like to either get rid of it, or make it grey. ive tried changing the xmb icons, text, battery icons, volume bar, and i cant seem to figure it out.

    thanks ahead of time!

I beleive you can change it under Settings > Theme Settings, then you just choose a color from the 1-12.bmp or make your wn 1-12.bmp. (Pretty sure that's ow you do it)

I never had the chance or need of changing that line's color; But Im pretty sure its the one located at:

    System_plugin.rco

Open it with RCO Editor and scroll down and find [MIG] Tex Line

Extract it and recolor it using photoshop. ^^

Let me know if that is the one your looking for "just to make sure Im in the right path for future use". Just back up that file and then try the Tex line image.

    Good luck.

thanks mime. i actually dont have photoshop, but when i get some time i might try to re color it using something else.

just system_plugin. rco? i might just reflash my back up and go from there.

EDIT: yeah, it was system_plugin.rco i just flashed the backed up file. but what does that system_plugin.rco actually change other than the line? i cant see anything.

    Your welcome man, anytime

System plugin is not that great, when it comes to images, it has the scroll UP/Down and busy icon for when you 'play video/sound' i think. the line and the most important part of the file is that it has all 8 XMB sounds.

But really nothing great there. ^^ The one thing that really would be customizable is that line you want to change and the XMB sounds. The rest is really not that useful.

    Good luck ^^
