    Hey all,

I was wondering if it was possible to have a custom background image with the Waves showing ontop of it.

Any help would be appreciated. Im on Firmware 3.03OE-C

Save your Background Image as 01-12.bmp and then place it in
    f0:/VSH/Resource/01-12.bmp
It can be full size: 480 x 272 Pixels.
Then go to your XMB > Settings > Theme Settings > Use Background > 'No'

nope you dont need to resize it just go to themes settings then choose the white box below original file and your custom wallpaper will appear plus the wave...

it will appear as a white image when you go back to your xmb screen from the recovery menu if you didnt save the image as a .bmp

just make sure that when you save your normal background image as "01-12.bmp", you put the ".bmp" at the end, and in the drop down box in the save as folder you make sure its on .png file type. it will work then.

Yeah, I've been having problems with the resolution of the backgrounds aswell. I made a 01-12.bmp and threw it into my resources folder. The bitmap was in 480x272, but I kept getting white boxes around my Icons. The background itself worked perfect but I had to change the resolution to 300x170 to get rid of the boxes. The background doesnt look as good.. any ideas?

you guys should try slash n flash v2
just download it and put your bmp into the wallpapers folder in slash n flash (doesn't matter what the name is as long as .bmp is after it...)
then boot it up and click on the file to flash it...i had troubles getting bmp's to show up but for some reason this app makes it work...
