Default HELP removing shadows from my customized icons.

Hello all.

I need help removing the shadows of the icons. If you don't know what i mean i will show you.

You can see the black behind the letters i need to remove that.

If you can please post how you do this here. I know you think to replace something in rcoeditor.

fast way of doing it is Extracting the "Shadow" Image and filling it with black. replace the shadow with that black image.

Shadow is gone..

Good luck>!

okay so totally cover the image with black and replace it? I'm just being cautious because I already semi-bricked from this.

Dont worry about semi bricks, they are fixable; if that happens just get into flash0 and replace your topmenu. Semibricks sound scary but this means an "RCO" is faulty so when your psp tries to "LOAD" the file the XMB will just freeze. Because the rco is bad. But nothing to worry about. But I understand your concern. Semibricks 'sucks'. Just giving out some of my thoughts

Yes, that will get rid of the shadow 100%.. Its gone.. Completely gone after.

Default HELP removing shadows from my customized icons.

It bricked last time because I accidentally put in the wrong dimensions. Didn't really think anything of it. But that is exactly what I did, replaced the shadow images with the blank screen.

Ok you want to get rid of System's shadow:

The icon is called "Tex System"

The shadow is called: "Tex Sdwn System"

Extract "Tex Sdwn System" and fill it with "Black" then replace it with the filled black image.

That should work .. No matter what.

Yes, you do that to all the icons you want, and if you dont know if thats a shadow just click it and see the preview of the icon.. if it is semi transparent is a shadow

Glad I could help! keep doing that for the shadows you want gone.
