Hi. I just tried to install the Ultimate Black theme on my 3.40oe-a firmware. Everything went fine copying the files into the resource folder. The icons work great. I replaced the old 60 x 34 01-12.bmp with a 480x272 one that came with the theme. The only problem is I now have a white background. I went to settings>themes but it's not there. I even tried to put it on my ms as a picture and set it as wallpaper that way, but i'm not given the option to set it as wallpaper. Can anyone offer some advice?

    I have the same problem...
    1st PSP 3.11 > 3.50 > 3.51 = <Sold> + <Pandora> = <3.52 M33 4>
    2nd PSP 3.41 > 3.50 > 1.5 > 3.40 OE-A > 3.52 M33 4
    3rd PSP 2.71 > 1.5 > 3.40OE-A > 3.52 M33 4

go into themes, turn the wallpaper off, goto the themes selection and scroll to the very top and select it.

Thanks for replies. I can't confirm the above steps work but putting my PSP into sleep mode overnight sure worked like a charm! Weird, but I'm not complaining.

Only one small problem now...browser and location free player icons are now white boxes where they weren't before.

After messing around for quite a while I restored a backup copy of the entire Flash0 I had and then started again.

I came to the conclusion that there were file(s) that had been overwritten and restoring made the theme work..

just use the memory tutorial i have in my sig, instead of constantly messing with the flash you can just use a plugin for the mem stick for the xmb modding. it's darn simple to fix if the theme you've installed screws up.
