problems with topmenu.rco

okay, i seriusly searched hardcore on this one but basically, i found out that the topmenu.rco for the theme im using is the reason my psp keeps semi bricking

i searched around and i think that the topmenu was made for 3.03 so that would mean in order for it to work on 3.40 OE-A i would need to convert??? or remake it or something

my question is how do i do that?

i'm also having trouble with the 01-12.bmp file, no matter what bmp i upload they all come out as a pure whit background on my PSP

What seems to be the problem? Use this to convert from 3.03OE to 3.40OE if you think that's what's wrong...

1. extract into a dir.
2. put your 3.03 topmenu into extracted dir
3. run the jap_upgrade.bat if you still want spot/ptv icons, otherwise, us_upgrade.bat
4. done, flash the converted topmenu_plugin.rco into Flash:0

Are you selecting the right theme under settings>theme on your XMB? You need to select the 2nd theme down (the one under "original")...
