09-01-2007, 06:45 PM Oaky, so I've been messing around with this for hours. Maybe two days. I've been on 4 different foums following links and downloading then testing files.
Help.
First off a Cintro, Coldboot and Gameboot seem like the same things. Which one is the clip that plays at the VERY begging after a full shutdown? (i.e. the black "Sony Entertainment America" with five chimes) Then which one's the white and yellow PSP clip that plays once you've selected a UMD/ISO?
Is the Cintro and movie clip(like I'm trying to get to work),
Coldboot the first screen and a Gameboot the clip before a UMD?
Regardless, I can't get my file to work. YouTube - WavesPSP This is what I'm wrestling with right now. This is coming up after I pick and ISO to play, but its going crazy and skipping in a little box in the upper left corner with two hands pointing to the right in the middle of the screen. I'd like it to play when my psp is FIRST booted from full shutdown.
I know most of these aren't made for 3.52-4 M33, I'm using the RCO Upgrader by SchmilK.

09-01-2007, 06:54 PM A cintro is a movie that plays on a cold start, a coldboot is just the regular starting with edited text/pics, and a gameboot can only be 2.5.. They're not the same.
Anyway I don't think you can have a coldboot and a cintro, one or the other and the gameboot must be 2.5 seconds long

09-01-2007, 07:01 PM Yes a coldboot is where it says "Sony Computer Entertainment" but you edit that to say whatever you'd like, that is a RCO
A gameboot is when you go to run and ISO/Emulator and it says "PSP Playstation Portable" And you change it by creating your own gameboot.pmf or edit the "PSP logo" in opening_plugin (same rco as a coldboot)
I don't know if you can or cannot have both a cintro and coldboot, I'm not sure, but I doubt it since a cintro is a movie that plays on startup.
09-01-2007, 07:04 PM Awesome! Well, I'll ditch the coldboot for a cintro, but I can't seem to get mine to work. Maybe the file I download was misrepresented as a cintro. Either way, its not working, lol.

Addendum: I'm getting my Cintros from PSP-Hacks.com / cZchip's Custom Gameboots I've dowloaded a second one(transformers this time) with still no luck. Its trying to play in place of the regular gameboot(white and yellow PSP clip just before my ISO/Emu is SUPPOSED to start.) What gives?
Addendum2: I think the file I need to be replacing with a movie is the opening_plugin.rco I know its an RCO, but how do you make it a Cintro?? The gambook.pmf is just that, the clip that plays when you're booting a game. Right?
Anyone? Help? Lol.

09-01-2007, 09:16 PM I tried the booting custom intro's from memorystick thing at PSP-Hacks.com / Boot custom intro's from memorystick on 3.30 OE & 3.40 OE and I had copy/paste my back flash0 files cause it froze.
Grrrrrrrrr. Anyone have any ideas?

09-02-2007, 11:54 PM After pasting my original flash0 files (minus the original gamboot.pmf which I saved over accidentally and fixed with the 3.40 OE file, which works but doesn't look right, cause I can't find the 3.52-4 M33 gamboot.pmf.), everything runs normally.
