Flash0 XMB themes for 3.71 M33..

I have been noticing that more themes have been made and some converted to work for 3.71 M33, so I now have a question. How much more risk is there in putting custom flash0 themes in 3.71 M33 than there was in 3.52 M33? I also want to try those PTF themes but just icon themes aren't enough of a difference for me to go to 3.71 M33.

I just now finished updating to 3.71M33-v2 and installing Silk Dream (see sig below) on it and it was just as easy as doing it on 2.52-m33.

The only difference i saw was the original files in flash0 were locked on my mac. So i unlocked them, replaced with the modded ones and then re-locked them. Restarted and all way happy.

Happy i updated to 3.72M33-v2 i am

My question is can i use a PTF theme and still be able to use the Silk Dream at the same time?

yes u can (I think)... as long as u dont change the topmenu (via recovery menu, i think).

try it and let me know..

Not sure if thats even true now. I was able to apply that theme and it needed a new topmenu_plugin.rco.

Is that the same thing your speaking of?

wait a min...
you have applcore theme, right?, and u need to flash top_menu inorder to get the icons ddraged into the middle(applcore form)?

hmm..
if so then go to your xmb and change the theme to see if your icon still stay in the applcore form, and if the icons change..

is that wat u were curious about?

No i have a theme called Silk Dream. Look closely at the pic in my sig. You will see an icon in the top left corner.

I just did this moments ago. Updated to 3.72m33-v2 and applied this theme.

oh ok... is see it now... the almost see Cthrough icons to the upper left...
(nice, i just posted an update about that theme)

well like i said b4 try changing the icons via xmb>>theme and see if the icons change but still stay in the same position...

Yeah, i just did. I applied the Cookies PTF and the icons stayed in place. The battery icon did not change though, and the background did changed.

I have not applied the 1.50 addon yet so i have no way of taking a snapshot of my display. if you know of a screenshot that does not need 1.50 let me know and ill take one and upload it.

I just switched back to Original theme and my flash theme stayed the way i put it. like you see in the sig picture. Although i have to re-apply my wallpaper.

can u still use plugins... if so try the screenshot plugin (old plugin)
i will help u search for it if u cant find it.

Yeah the plugin i'm using doesn't seem to work. The one i have used is called screenshotbmp.prx.

If there is another that i should try let me know.

i never used that 1 b4... the screenshot plugin that im talkin about is probably much older than that (and it works decently).

It would be nice if someone would figure out a way to make PTF themes that could have as many changes as AppleCor.
