Trust me, this isn't the obvious question you're expecting.... (or maybe it is, but I couldn't find it in search....)

I went to recovery in flash0 in order to put my old gameboot in, but in vsh/resource, the .pmf isn't there......

Anyone know why this would be? (everything still works.....)

    Thanks for any help!

Root:/VSH/RESOURCES has no gameboot.pmf? and you PSP still works? Double check to see that gameboot.pmf is missing, try arranging the files by name.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that you do this on your PC, via USB mode.

yeah, I've done this before (last time was 3.52 I believe though).....

Basically, flash0: vsh/resource displays only rco and res files.......(only one res though.)

I've never tried doing it on the PSP. I have a slim, so I can't use PSPSet, which I hear works very well, but requires the 1.5 kernal. I just copy it over USB mode.

? I didn't say it, but I am using recovery mode to look at this right now....

I also have installed the 1.5 kernel addon for 3.71, so that might have something to do with it, but I wouldn't know...

You did mention you were in recovery mode, and I don't think your firmware is the problem. If you can still launch your XMB (I assume you can since you said everything works), connect to a PC and see if the file is missing, or just hidden in recovery mode.

nevermind, I have no idea what's going on, but when I dragged it and dropped it into the folder, and it asked if I wanted to replace it......

So, apparently it is there, just invisible (so, I'm just an idiot, lol.)

    Thanks for listening, anyway.
