I am shrinking them to 72 dpi for screen resolution, maybe it's because I used gif instead of jpg (color reduction can make it seem that way)? My eyes must be going becasue I don't see it. Thanks guys, thats good encouragement. Guess I'll stick with PNG from now on, especially in SOTW.
I'll add a border a little later. Busy with school work right now. 
And to add a note - if it wasn't for the comments "It Looks Pixilated.." and such, I would never have guessed. So keep up the criticism, it's important for anyone attempting to improve their artistic skills like me.
