    the pop out kinda is dumb how the render is cut off.

    Yes, The pop Out is only really achieved when the whole render is in view. If the render or stock your working with is cut off anywhere it may not work that well. One side would work because that ends in the border... the other ends completely outside the border.. a better effect with a shadow....
