Those brown or whatever lines kind of ruin it, and I see that render in alot of sigs, but still it's a good job.

Yeah, those Path lines do kinda ruin it... I thought they kinda added to the flow of the sig, but I have had second thoughts about it. Thanks for the comment. |

What do you guys think? If next week's SOTW is Freestyle, then I might enter this, or at least have it as a back-up. +/- Comments welcome! |

There is only one thing i dont like about it...
Thats on the front bumber at the tip of the hood, It looks fuzzy.
I think it takes away from the sig.

ok chaos wtf, dont do what you did with those sigs. ive seen the 2nd one in a tutorial once on gimptalk but with a different name. did you replace his name with yours? and the 1st sig looks a little too advanced than your older works. provide the links to the tutorials or im reporting you to pirate. (concerning the SOTW i mean)

I follow the tuts. Using different renders and c4d's. I didn't steal anything. Tutorials are used for learning, when I learn the tut, I learn different styles of sig making. You've read tuts to learn at some point haven't you? As far as my sigs I just made, I followed tuts aswell. I used those renders because they looked cool, and I didn't enter those either. As far as my SOTW entry, I simply followed a tut, and threw in some things of my own. I fail to see any wrong.
EDIT: Here is the link tut: GIMPER.NET - The GIMP Community - View topic - Link Sig Tutorial
My outcome is different, I added some more c4d/galaxy stock.
Here is my other sig's tut: GIMPER.NET - The GIMP Community - View topic - Ultimate Mecha Tutorial
Once more, I did some more things as I did with the Link sig.
I don't feel I should be "punished" for learning from tutorials, but w/e...
All you gotta do is compare the outcomes, there's probably at least 10 things different between mine and the tut maker's. Whether it be different Gradient Maps, to more/less c4d usage, to image size, to text and border. Usually I use different renders to, I just really liked the way they were used, so I used them as well. I wasn't expecting this kind of negative response...

Thanks for the positive comment, I could have a shot at your request, but those tuts I gave to numb3rs are really helpful, and a great place to learn from as far as sig making in GIMP. It wouldn't hurt to try carp. =] |
