COLDBOOTS
Now there may be some of you who might be asking..."What the hell is a coldboot?"
Well a Coldboot is the Text and the Sound that you see and hear when your PSP is turned on.Unless you have a custom one the Sony Computer Entertainment logo and the stock sound will play..like so:
Now this can be customized and this is where I come in.
Here's what I need to make you a coldboot:
Text:What you would like it to say.
Color:Color of the text.(Black is not suggested but if you must it will look like so see pic below)
Font:Font of text.*1
Sound:*2
Firmware:Whatever firmware you want it made for.
I make it look like so because black sorta blends into the BG of the standard coldboot.
*1:FONTS
The fonts that i have are the BASIC fonts that come with windows XP.So if you want one that you may think I do not have upload it or give me a link to it.
*2:Sound
Also I'd like you guys to remember that I do not create sounds.By this I mean that if you want a sound saying..idk..."Welcome So & So"..you need to create and upload it.If you want your sound to say something along those lines here is a
voice generator. Its nothing spectacular.Just downlaod it and uplaod it and give link in post.
Now if its part of a song or video either you can cut out the part(
Max of 3.0 secs) or I will.
I will be uploading all of the Coldboots to
Upload - ifile.it unless asked to upload to another place.
Out of habit I normally remove the Gameboot logo..so if you want it to be left alone let me know...
I will try to the best of my ability to make a nice Coldboot for those that request one.
Also if your using the wonderful theme plugin CXMB most likely your F0 Coldboot will not work properly if the Theme your using has one already.
Gameboots/CIntro's
I've also decide to take up making Gameboots and CIntro's as I see to get frequent requests for them.
Just in case you do not know what either of them are:
Gameboot:A Gameboot is the 2.5 second video that is played when you launch a PSP game,homebrew application/game.
CIntro(Custom Intro):A CIntro(Not to be confused with a Coldboot)is a video that plays when you boot your PSP.It shows BEFORE your Coldboot shows up.
What I need from you:
1:I need a link to the video you want me to do it of.I will NOT go looking for it for you.
2:A NORMAL**(Please see Note) Gameboot is
exactly 2.5 seconds long.So I will need the time stamp of the section you would like used.
**I can also make a Gameboot longer by modifying the opening_plugin.rco from your respective firmware.(If you have one of my custom made ones or one you made and want a longer one you will need to upload and provide a link)In theory you could have it as long as you want BUT I am going to limit it to a max of 15 seconds right now.
I have yet to determine how long a CIntro can be so I will post that once I find out but for now lets just say 1 minute.
So here is how I would like the Gameboot/CIntro requests laid out:
1:Specify weather it's a Gameboot or a CIntro.
2:Provide a link to the video
3:Give the time stamps that you would like used for it.
4:If its a Normal or Long Gameboot and if its a long one please specify your firmware.If a CIntro skip this.
!!NOTE FOR LONG GAMEBOOT REQUESTS!!
As long as you have the modified RCO flashed to your PSP your Gameboot will have a long Gameboot no matter if you change it or not.If the Gameboot you flash is only 2.5 seconds long and your RCO is modded to be 10 seconds long your Gameboot will repeat 4 times.I will provide an unmodded RCO Pack here in case anybody wants to revert back to normal.

(To use just rename to opening_plugin.rco and place in:F0:\vsh\resource)

Longer gameboots may or may not(Depending on if you have modified your flash 0 in anyway)need to be ran from the MS.I will provide the files to do this here also.
Also if you do not want it ran from the MS and its a long Gameboot delete the DIC folder in Flash 0.

If you use the MS Gameboot your gameboots will no longer go in Flash 0 but in:
ms0:/PSP/SYSTEM/BOOT/gameboot.pmf
(Rename to opening_plugin.prx and place it F0:\vsh\module.Folder may be hidden)
Here is one of my works that I have done.
Use
THIS to have a CIntro.
The CIntro files(PSP Folder and seplugins)go on the ROOT of the Memory Stick.
Probably should mention it.With this version of CIntro you will not have a coldboot.It will boot straight to the XMB after it plays.
Also note that the quality of the youtube video and the actual gameboot are different as the Gameboot is much better.
