i updated to 4.01 M33-2... my most def bad for not havin that vital info available... thanks for all the eff... i hope this helps as well:

i have never played psp isos on my psp... though i havent tried it since my new update...

i also have the ctf manager. i believe its latest version....

i stay with the frosty box firmware... (it clean, stylish, and sexy)-the reason i mention this is because on bootin up the psp says ," Playstation portable" in that wipeout 3 soundin lady's voice then right after it it says " psp!" in a not so authentic japanime kids voice.

pspmvs, pspcps2, gpsp, annnd psx emulators... and something new called psp spot im downloading a game it as i type...
anything else let me know...

Completed and just some notes for the 2 of you...(Pentumsmart and leunammi)

Pentumsmart:I added the text to the gameboot so if your CTF you are using has the PSP logo on it it is still going to appear.

leunammi:U said that you are using CTF's so I though I would warn you...CTF's have the coldboot files in them already so most likely it wont have either the sound text or maybe even both..I know the one I just mad works but to use it with CXMB you will have to decompile the CTF replace the coldboot files and then recompile it.

Hi, my friend just put cfw 4.01 m33-2 on my slim psp, I did manage to figure out how ctfs and cxmb work, but I cant seem to figure out soundboots/coldboots.
I was just wondering if you could make my psp play the attached sound when it boots up.

i dont know how to decompile the ctf's though
so i just disable the cxmb plugin...

believe it or not i asked for one without knowin how to put it on...lol

hey, i was wondering if you could make something along the lines of this:
