I'd go for the clear case. I had a translucent pink GBA which rocked. i'd love a translucent pink PSP case. And I agree that this aleviates the pain of scratching your PSP. Does the original PSP faceplate have the screen attatched aswell? So if I got a nasty scratch running across the length of my PSP I could just swap the plates and be rid of the scratch? Or does the new faceplate's clear plastic center fit over the existing screen and would only cover over the now permanent scratch?

these faceplates are a BITCH to switch out, but man i tell you it is WORTH it!!!!

there's still a little dust underneath the screen, but u cant see it when its turned on, so no big deal... if it starts to piss me off i will re-attach it and go for less dust...

    SWEET!!

Which brand is that faceplate, the XCM one or the Asterix one, and how does it fit compared to stock?

it's asterix brand... it looks kick ass... i would only recommend the transluscent plates from asterix tho as the paint used for the flat plates are not that good. if you want a flat color use XCM instead... the buttons and plates fit perfect, if not MORE so than the original... A+ =]

well, if you can take off the warranty sticker without breaking it, and put it back on when you're done, no one's the wiser

(i'd reccomend a hair dryer + slow, careful removal, that's how i get all my important/warranty stickers off, but i haven't tested it on the psp yet)
