Installed CXMB now my games won't play

i installed a custom xmb on my psp . my firmware is 4.01 m33-3.... i installed the cxmb my replacing some files of the flash0 ... then accidentally i formatted my flash1 .... now i can't play iso and cso games anymore, haven't tried playing game from UMD ....

what sud i do???

is there a way to downgrade the firmware without having to use a pandora's battery??

since the m33 group haven't come up with a 4.05 cfw, i can't upgrade ....

so i'm stuck ... and i really wanna play games ....

i need help ....

Before you ever access flash0 internal PSP files, it's a good idea to back-up the whole flash0 folder to your PC. Now, can you turn on your PSP even? If you get a black screen it's bricked. But if you can access the Recovery Menu, (hold "R" during boot-up) you can fix it via your back-up. If you bothered to make one.

no i didin't back up my flash0 files .... stupid me :-s :-s .... but yes i can still go to the recovery menu ... my psp is not bricked yet ... i can use all other functions like music, movie n internet ... the only thing not working is the game (iso, cso) ... none of the games work ...

i found someone else's flash0 files on the internet, its his backup ... is it ok to replace my flash0 files with his ?? i've heard that this attempt will brick the psp???

Wait, no. If you can access all your files, movies, music and what-not, it's nothing to do with your flash0. Check to see if your memory stick isn't "fake". (Press [Triangle] over you memory stick icon, if you don't see "Magic Gate Supported" then it's a fake.)

ya i think my memory stick is a fake then ... coz it says unknown on magic gate ..... so does this mean the problem is with my memory stick??? when i purchase memory stick , do i have to check if it is magicgate supported or not???
