Also my cousin doesn't have internet, so do you care if I print this out for him. I already downloaded all the tools, rcos, and prx's for him.
    That's fine by me.

not sure if its not showing up on my comp but it seems like you just trailed off on how to add the wav file into the prx by hex editing, last thing i see is

"WAVEfmt 4 and further down(Almost at the bottom) ...thread.

    Basically this:

Yes it is true that the guide is not 100% as when I posted it I though I would have the time to completely finish within a week..as you can plainly see that was not the case. Now I have been working on it and will be finishing it.Sorry for the inconvenience.

Well sadly to say in all my endeavors in the world of PRX/RCO modding I've yet to come across a way to make a longer coldboot..sorry..I'll do a little searching and see what I can find out and post back.

On a side not I'm going to be finishing this guide 100% soon and fixing some inconsistencies in it..as long as I can get the baby to let me be on for more then 20 mins.

    Have you installed this:

Download details: .NET Framework Version 1.1 Redistributable Package

Also on another note noticed a few inconsistencies and what not..some links need updated so will be reworking some things in the guide.

    Great guide
I think I accidentally deleted my previous account but w/e...
I did a ColdBoot and a BootSound, and you can use PNG files in RCOedit,
that's what I used for mine, it's just that using a full PNG image will
cause a white screen because it's too big. Things like regular text work
    with PNGs.
Anyways, my ColdBoot is just HadesMinion in slipknot font, but if anyone
wants a CoD MW2 BootSound here's mine: [Remove the ***s]

    Sound File

    Prx Download
    ht***tp://www.fileden.com/files/2009/8/12/2541938//opening_plugin.prx]

    It's for 5.00 m33.

And yeah, the first two links are dead, so I re-uploaded to a few sites: [Remove the ***s]
