Photoshop sounds to good to be true

Ok, I was searching the web to see if I can find a good deal on Photoshop for my macbook pro. I ran in to this. Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium for MAC

$259.95

is an amazing prize, but it sounds WAY to good to be true.

What do you think?

it might be a student version, its exactly like a full version except if you get caught making money with it by selling your work, you can get in trouble. Its only for educational purposes most likely, not commercial.

My version of Maya which is 3d modeling software cost me $200, but if I want to get a license that allows me to sell my models or something I will have to pay another $3000+

If you mean free by a torrent, or other warez mean. No thanks. I have had way to many complications with such. (i.g. viruses) Plus having a nice legit copy is pretty nice feeling.

If you want to buy Photoshop, use adobe.com or a trusted retailer. Same goes for any software like this, because if you buy it from shit like the site linked in the OP, you WILL get stung, and likely pay a lot of money for a warez copy.

EDIT: Also after a quick scan of that page, i see this under the product:

So that is either going to be a warez serial key, or some ebook shit telling you how to get photoshop.

I looked further in the site, and notice to many questionable things. As for student prices, average price is about 350 to 360.

The best way to know you have a good copy is to download the trial directly from adobe.com. The trial is the full program. Then get you a key generator to unlock it and modify your host file and you will not have to worry about anything!
