V4PWR 03-01-2008 at 07:45 PM | I got my PSP to recognize this file... but... it's saying 390.PBP doesn't exist. And then I'm being asked if I want to download it from the 'net.
To the folks having problems... maybe sure your directory structure on your PSP looks like this:
-> PSP -> GAME -> UPDATE -> EBOOT.PHP |
crazybud 03-01-2008 at 08:29 PM | IM STILL HAVING TROUBLES PUTTING 3.90M33-2 ON MY PSP
WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO SAVE IT AS? |
V4PWR 03-02-2008 at 03:44 PM | READ the message DIRECTLY above yours. |
V4PWR 03-02-2008 at 04:10 PM | OK, it helps if we all read the info provided... in the readme.txt file. When prompted regarding the missing 390.PBP file... let your PSP connect to the 'net to download it. Now, this will only work if your PSP is able to access a wireless network. Not sure if it knows to use the USB connection. In my case, my PSP accessed my wireless network to I downloaded the 390.PBP file that way. It's about a 24mb file so it will take a few minutes. Once the file is downloaded you will be prompted to start the flashing process. Follow the prompts and you'll be fine. My PSP now boots with this lastest CFW. Many thanks! |
V4PWR 03-02-2008 at 04:14 PM | One more thing. Make sure your battery has a full charge. Just tried to flash a second PSP and was kicked out of the flashing program since my battery needed to be at least 78% charged. Even after plugging in the AC adapter and trying again I was kicked out. No problem. Will just let the PSP charge up and try again a little later. |
AcidFly 03-04-2008 at 06:00 PM | is there a way to download the 390.PBP on the pc and copy it to the psp? |
