Installation
c64psp currently supports the loading of T64 and D64 image files and these should be placed in the /PSP/C64ROMS folder on your memorystick.
Firmware v1.5 users:
Unpack the c64psp zipfile
Copy the two folders to the /PSP/GAME folder on your memorystick
Run from the PSP “Game” menu
Firmware v2.0 users:
Unpack the c64psp zipfile
Copy the “c64psp___1” folder to the /PSP/GAME folder on your memorystick (you might want to rename this folder, e.g. “c64psp”)
Run with EBoot Loader 8.5
Usage
Once c64psp has started you can press the START button for a quick reminder of the various controls. Press SELECT to reset the emulator and whilst holding L and R, press the START button to exit c64psp. Loading Games
To load a game, press L to display image selection screen. Use the dpad to highlight the image you would like to load and press “X” to autoload. Programs can also be loaded by returning to the emulator after highlighting and using the Virtual Keyboard to enter normal C64 commands. Screen Mode
Whilst on the image selection screen, pressing TRIANGLE will toggle which joystick port is emulated and “O” will change the screen mode. The following screen modes are supported:
Unstretched
Stretched with horizontal and vertical borders
Stretched with vertical borders
Stretched with no borders
Virtual Keyboard
Some games may require keyboard input. Whilst in-game, press the R button to display the Virtual Keyboard. The highlighted key can be changed using the dpad and pressed with “X”. Press SQUARE for a shifted version of the key. Move the VK using the analog stick. Press the R button again to hide the VK. Snapshots
c64psp currently supports the loading and saving of a single snapshot. Whilst the Virtual Keyboard is visible, press START to load a snapshot and SELECT to save. Credits
