Default GBa emulator(speed)

I'm using the latest Gba emulator as far as i know(PSP VBA) and i can't get it to stop being a little jumpy. i keep changing setting around but can't get ti just right. what should i set tit to to get max performance because i was sure this one was already at top speed.
